Special Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 cup Crisco
1/2 cup butter
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
6 oz semisweet chocolate chips
6 oz bittersweet chocolate chips

Oven @ 375. Bake for 12 minutes.

Beat Crisco and butter for 30 sec on medium speed. Add 1/2 the flour, the brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, vanilla and baking soda. Beat mixture until combined. Beat in remaining flour. Stir in chips.

I double this recipe and freeze it in several containers. We keep one container in the fridge and make a couple fresh,warm cookies per night.
