Quick Chicken Cordon Blue without the Crust

Here is a quick recipe for crustless Chicken Cordon Bleu

Chicken Tenders ( frozen or fresh)
Sliced Ham
Sliced Havarati Cheese
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
Chicken Broth
Olive Oil
Salt/ Pepper

Prepare the chicken tenders: If using frozen just wash off the ice glaze and place in a glass pan with olive oil in the bottom: If using fresh then just place in the pan with olive oil
If frozen then cook on 350 for 20-30 minutes; Remove from oven
Wrap sliced ham around each tender, then top with sliced cheese
Prepare the Cream of Chicken Soup with 1/2 can of chicken broth to thin
Mix together and pour over the chicken/ham and cheese in the pan
Salt and Pepper to taste
Resume cooking on 350 for 20-30 minutes until bubbly

If using fresh chicken prepare ham/cheese without precooking and proceed to cook 30-45 minutes until Chicken is cooked fully.

The cheese will melt and combine with the soup to make a creamy sauce.
This dish will reheat well if you want to cook the day before and refrigerate or even freeze for a later meal.

**For a quick crust if you would like, use crescent rolls and wrap around the chicken/ham/cheese and bake.
Serve with a fresh salad and garlic bread for a yummy dinner on a cold night.

I AM THINKING OF MAKING IT THIS NEXT WEEKEND.. I MAY SPRINKLY PANKO BREADCRUMBS OVER IT FOR A LIGHT CRUNCH. Paula :)
